ENSURE THAT EACH MEMBER OF OUR YOUTH GROUP RECEIVES THE FOUNDATION AND MOTIVATION NECESSARY
The youth ministry (7th-12th Grade) is a vibrant part of our ministry here at Philadelphia French Speaking Baptist Church. We strongly believe that the goal of youth ministry is to prepare youth for a life of service and relationship with Jesus beyond High School. We recognize the importance of inspiring the next generation for Jesus Christ. Passing this faith to children and youth is both a great responsibility and an incredible privilege. We are advocates for our youth, helping them to be critical thinkers and to reach their own generation and the world around them
Our goal and prayers are for God to raise up a ministry of young people that will exercise the kind of faith David displayed against Goliath and that God will produce Christ-like young men and women fully surrendered to Him.
The group meets twice a week for activities and Bible Study. All middle school-age members of our Youth Ministry will be assigned prayer partners, generally older members, who will pray for and develop a casual relationship with these younger members. All high school-age members will be assigned a prayer partner/mentor, also older members, who will meet monthly with these younger members to support, encourage, and guide in their daily walks through these challenging, important years.
Prayer & Worship (III John 4) – are a vital part of our plan to help each youth develop his/her own personal relationship with Jesus, by meeting on a regular basis to pray, worship, talk to each other, sharing and encouraging one another. We are looking forward to host you at our next of our next Thursday evening bible study session or a Sunday worship service.
